Job Summary

Performs cleaning of neonatal beds per manufacturer instructions, under the direction of the Neonatal nursing manager.

Essential Functions

• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.

• Cleans and disinfects infant warmers and isolates according to the bed manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU).

• Uses hospital-approved disinfectants and follows disinfectant contact/wet time.

• Follows a dirty to clean workflow in the designated cleaning area.

• Moves clean beds to appropriate clean storage location.

• Maintains adequate cleaning supplies in the designated cleaning area, requests more from supervisor as needed.

• Transports beds needing repair to Clinical engineering.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities

• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.

Minimum Requirements

• Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Experience - No previous experience
