Job Summary
Performs cleaning of neonatal beds per manufacturer instructions, under the direction of the Neonatal nursing manager.
Essential Functions
All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
Cleans and disinfects infant warmers and isolates according to the bed manufacturer's instructions for use (IFU).
Uses hospital-approved disinfectants and follows disinfectant contact/wet time.
Follows a dirty to clean workflow in the designated cleaning area.
Moves clean beds to appropriate clean storage location.
Maintains adequate cleaning supplies in the designated cleaning area, requests more from supervisor as needed.
Transports beds needing repair to Clinical engineering.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
